Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. The most famously known is that she's anchor of CNN's morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a co-host on the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has contributed to CNN's coverage of both the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. She has previously worked as a Washington DC based correspondent, who covered each of the US House and Senate. As a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on legislative events and congressional events such as talks to increase the federal debt limit and the super committee deliberations. As an assignment reporter for general assignments, she has covered stories such as the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 as well as the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as National Correspondent back in 2007. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she broke breaking news stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided feature reports. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. Her current residence is New York City along with her children, husband and parents.
