Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and had three children. At the age of 17, her parents split up. When their business collapsed, she faced more financial issues. Her situation was further complicated due to being bulimic or anorexic. Gossow spoke very openly in her explanation of why she decided to quit ARCH Enemy's band as their vocalist. She explained, "There's a place and the right time for everything." When I started in 1991, I was just beginning my career. The joy of living in the open road had diminished. So, to not appear as if I stepped down. The original frontman of the band, Johan Liiva was replaced in 2000 by German singer Angela Gossow. The song You're the Vocal is an album by Australian vocalist John Farnham released in 1986 that became a huge hit in Australia and also in several European countries Ireland and the UK.
