Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in the US. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an artistic environment. The first job she had was a photo assistant. She then moved on to modelling and acting. The award she received was her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained her fame worldwide, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films she was the highest-rated female box-office star across the globe. Her handprints and signatures were recorded at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
